At PRIGO Elementary School, learning is a journey of discovery and growth. We are proud to be an authorized IB World School offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP).
The PYP nurtures the whole child — academically, socially, emotionally, and culturally. Our pupils explore knowledge through a transdisciplinary approach, guided by six broad and meaningful themes that connect learning to real life:
These themes encourage pupils to think deeply, ask meaningful questions, and understand the world as an interconnected whole.
At the heart of the programme lies the IB Learner Profile, which helps pupils grow into inquirers, thinkers, communicators, risk-takers, knowledgeable, principled, open-minded, caring, balanced, and reflective individuals. These attributes shape the way children approach their learning and how they engage with others and the world around them.
Through inquiry-based learning, pupils do not simply memorise facts — they develop the skills, values, and attitudes that empower them to take meaningful action and make a positive difference. The PYP fosters international mindedness, encouraging pupils to appreciate their own culture while respecting and celebrating the perspectives of others.
PRIGO is building a strong foundation for pupils to become active participants in their own education. They learn to ask thoughtful questions, express ideas with confidence, and recognise that their voices matter. We believe this journey prepares them not only for academic success, but also for a purposeful and fulfilling life in an ever-changing world.
